Against the background of the globalized higher education, CIEactively explores new directions for cultivating foreign students and arranges enterprise visits for them, creating a “second classroom” for international students. The visiting group were warmly hosted by the vice-presidents Wang Xiangguo&Wu Jian, the general managers Zheng Chengbin&PiaoQingxun and the employees of the corporation. The students visited the exhibition hall and optical fiber science park, and gained a personal compresion of the significance of optical fiber in our lives as well as of Hengtong’s enterprise culture and entrepreneurship. After the visit, vice-president Wang Xiangguo introduced the history and development of the corporation while the students exchanged opinions with the representatives with respect to enterprise culture and overseas employment.Vice-dean Bao Hua conveyed thanks for their considerate reception and indicated that by providing internship opportunities for campus international students, the enterprise can help them adapt to the environment in advance and create a seamless platform for foreign students to step into the society. Both sides said that they would carry out practical cooperation in internship, employment and employee training concerning foreign students.
