In the afternoon of December 13, Wu Xiaojun, dean of the International Cultural Exchange School of Donghua University visited ECUST to have exchanges about international student management with Gao Yongyu, head of logistics department, Bao Hua, vice-dean of CIE-ECUST and related faculty members.

Bao first extended a warm welcome to the research team and made a positive comment on the distinctive features of DU’s international education, especially the property management of students’ accommodation. She hoped that through the exchanges the two sides could learn from each other in enhancing service management of foreign students. Besides,Baoprovided detailed information about students’ accommodations and management and said that the property management has been taken up in the scheduled cooperation between CIE and logistics department.

Gao observed that it’s of great necessity to implement property management so as to make sure the work is done successfully with CIE and the logistics department shouldering their own responsibilities.

Wu introduced specifically the cooperative model based on college, logistics as well as property and then shared their experience in management.

After the meeting, accompanied by Bao Hua, the group visited the apartments in which foreign students live and Wu remarked that there was much to learn in view of ECUST’s bright apartment buildings with warm interiors.
