On Jan. 16, the delegation of 24 students and teachers from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mining in Saudi Arabia visited ECUST. Mr. Liang received the delegation and introduced the basic information, program setting as well as the studying and living environment and other issues at ECUST.
The delegation visited the lab of School of Chemical Engineering and Technology and 985 large-scale instrument test centers at School of Chemistry, and received warm welcome from teachers in the lab. The teachers and students spoke highly of the experimental teaching and management system of chemical engineering at ECUST.
In the afternoon, with the arrangement of CIE, the delegation visited and watched the video introducing the Shanghai Institute of Chemical Technology- an internship practice base for ECUST overseas students. They also visited the showroom, high-performance polyolefin materials pilot plant and environmental safety assessment laboratory, gaining a better understanding of such fields as advanced materials, biomedicine, energy-saving environmental protection and modern production services.
King Fahd of Saudi Arabia shares similar academic settings with our university. Therefore, this exchange program further strengthens the ties between the two universities and meanwhile enhances the international reputation of ECUST.
