On March 20, a team of 84 teachers and students from Norwegian University of Science and Technology visited ECUST, received by CIE and other related schools at our university.

In the morning, CIE organized an introduction and exchange meeting, chaired by Zhou Haibo. Zhou described the tremendous changes China has experienced since China entered the new era and the tremendous achievements made by the CPC since the reform and opening up by comparing our traditional and modern "Four Inventions." Through mentioning the name-shift of our university, he also introduced the glorious history of East China University of Science and Technology in the past 66 years along with the growth of the new China. Liang Cheng and Liu Han made a detailed introduction to the activities in which international students have engaged and the current situation of exchange students at ECUST.

Afterwards, two exchange students from Germany met the visiting teachers and students by narrating their study experiences and telling about their own stories in China. Besides, they answered questions posed by the visiting students one by one, putting the exchange meeting to an end in a pleasant atmosphere.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the relevant laboratories of School of Chemical Engineering, School of Chemistry, School of Bioengineering, and School of Materials.
