On December 23, CIE and EAPC (English for Academic Purpose Club) held a fellowship activity on Xuhui Campus to celebrate New Year’s coming, which can enrich students’ life as well as enhance their cross-cultural communication skills.

Lots of international students from various countries such as Germany, Pakistan, Yemen, Mongolia and Chad participated in this activity. They tasted gingersnaps and made Chinese knots and paper-cut window decoration with Chinese students. They also wrote cards to each other and recorded a video about New Year wishes. They said that through this activity, they had more communication with Chinese students and became friends with some of them, and learned more about Chinese culture and felt warm in the cold winter. Wish that students from China and other countries would have more opportunities to communicate with each other, make progress and grow up together.
