In recent days, the ECUST JMD Joint Management Committee visited the University of Birmingham (UoB), the delegation conducted in-depth discussions with UoB on the future collaborations in the pioneering Joint Multi-Degree (JMD) programme.

UoB’s committee expressed a strong interest in UoB potentially becoming one of our JMD global hubs in the UK. The detailed work of curriculum mapping and co-developing the joint cultivation plan is currently under way between the two institutions.

During the visit, the delegation also met with our distinguished alumni, Professor Zhang Zhibing, who is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK, also a professor of School of Chemical Engineering at UoB.
