Vice President of University of Sheffield - Dr. Malcolm Butler visited ECUST

 On March 13th, a delegation of University of Sheffield (UoS) led by Vice President Dr. Malcolm Butler paid a visit to ECUST and had a cooperation meeting with CIE. Dr.Butler expressed a strong interest in UoS potentially joining one of the JMD global hubs for Chemical Engineering programme. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions regarding potential cooperation details of the JMD programme.

 

 

After the meeting, Dr. Malcolm Butler specifically met with one of our UK students studying at ECUST—— Kristian Max AAS-Hornby, fostering a very pleasant conversation. As an international student ambassador at ECUST, Kristian introduced Dr. Malcolm Butler to the vibrant academic and cultural life at ECUST. Dr. Malcolm Butler expressed anticipation for further collaboration between our universities, hoping to provide more opportunities for British students to come to China and study at our university.
